Vermont clocks started business in Isle La Motte, VT in 1991. Vermont Clock Co. Is now located in Middle Tennessee, in Lewisburg.
Jack and Linda, husband and wife, with their two kids Meghan and Michael, started the Vermont Company with a clean lined, Shaker Tall Clock. The interest was so great, they began designing and building more clocks. The small business moved to Tennessee in 2013, and after Jack passed away in September of 2020, the business is managed by Michael and his mother Linda. Jack, loved working with clients and being part of all aspects of the business, Jack fought cancer for 8 years and is survived by his wife Linda and his three children, Meghan, Michael and Shanin.
Moving to Tennessee was a big change but, Jack and Linda wanted to be centrally located, so family was closer.
Vermont Clock Company is a small business. The business began as a wholesale company producing 100’s of clocks a year and selling to 12 stores. Today, it is a hands on business for Michael, with help from his mother Linda.
Traditional mechanical clocks recall our heritage and have found renewed interest in this
digital age. Our clocks have found homes in most of the 50 states, in Europe and Australia.
